Short Plot:
Mara wakes up blank. Every day the town of Harlow rebuilds her identity for her, blaming a long-ago accident. She trusts them — until she finds a wall of notes she wrote to herself: “They erase you every night.”
As fragments of her real past break through, Mara uncovers Harlow’s secret: the town’s memories are perfect, but hers is wiped nightly by ritual. She is the only person who ever tried to escape the valley, and the town will do anything to make sure she never remembers how.
Now she has one day to remember everything — or be forgotten forever.
