At 13, Kanden “Kan” Wells gets his golden ticket – a one-way trip from home to Hollywood.
He arrives with a beat-up suitcase tagged K. WELLS, a gold cross, and a dream he built with his mom and big sister filming YouTube videos in their living room.
In the lobby of a cold downtown LA executive suite, Kan waits on the couch. The secretary comes down to get him. They walk to the elevator.
Upstairs, two executives in dark navy suits aren’t talking about his future – they’re salivating over it.
“We tell him we have big plans for his future… but that golden ticket is our key to the AI project. He’s the asset.”
And as they whisper, storm clouds literally form over their heads.
Before he ever walks into that office, the audience already knows the truth.
